In One Piece Chapter 1180, released on April 20, 2026, the series introduced Nerona Imu’s ability known as Omen, or Maki. This new power system has officially become the strongest in the series after piercing through Luffy’s Haki and overwhelming his Devil Fruit powers.
According to Imu himself in Chapter 1181, Omen is a power that dwells within all living things — similar in concept to Haki, but fundamentally different in nature.
